The final product is a streamline modern seat made from perforated stainless steel and neoprene. It explores a new weather-proof alternative to cushioning in outdoor applications and cleanly resides in a sleek home in an entryway or back patio.
The chair began with research, tactile experimentation with materials, manufacturing methods, and new technologies. Exploration began with sheet aluminum and neoprene foam rubber as primary materials.
